A Melting Pot of Piecing Traditions
The blue is like little peaks of the sky on a fall day- it adds interest and sparkle so things don't get matchy-matchy. Looks terrific.
A dark blue would certainly work :)
I couldn't agree more with Linda. It adds the sparkle and breaks up those colors a bit.
Oh, I like it with the couple bits of blue....adds a bit of interest/sparkle :)
Yes yes yes love the blue! Gorgeous !
Oh I like that little bit of blue (sky peeping through those Autumn leaves). hugs, Julierose
I agree with Linda, blue adds contrast, movement, so 'things don't get matchy-matchy.'Great work.
If you make more blocks I would leave the blue and add some more (at least one more), if this is your final size, I might leave them off.
I say WITH the blue -- it adds SO much!
The other comments make sense but I like it with out the blue.
I like the blue! Lovely fabrics!
Love the blue.
the blue adds a touch of "unexpected", making more exciting.
I like it with the blue but would probably add a third block that has blue in it, and maybe a slightly different blue, just to keep things interesting. It's got a lovely autumn feel so you can't go wrong either way.
Oh I like the blue - makes it look like those changing aspen leaves peeking out from the fall foliage
thank you for all of your opinions :-)
With! With! The blue, being a complement of orange, adds a bit of zing and verve.
I like the little pop of blue...or maybe a teeny bit of periwinkle!!! Beautiful job!
I like the pop of blue too! But beautiful either way!
Thank you for taking the time to read and respond.
